Resident wants more time to voice opinions

Sunday, August 16, 2015

To the editor::

County commissioners are supposed to represent all citizens of the county. How is it possible when only a few are given a chance to voice their opinions?

Last Monday's commissioners meeting was a regular monthly but apparently knew the subject of the Bowling Green bridge would be on the agenda, therefore, fewer people had a chance to voice their opinion or get their questions answered.

Also how can a discussion take place in two days and a vote without time to think about or research the consequence of their vote. This is hardly the proper way to represent all the people of the county.
