Airplane needs restoration

To the editor:

I live in Jackson Township southeast of Brazil. I go to the courthouse twice a year to pay my property tax.

I always comment to the nice lady that takes my check how shameful it is that the historic F86 on the courthouse grounds is in such terrible shape.

She tells me that the city of Brazil owns the airplane.

Why can't we do something about it? Look at the old buzz bomb in Greencastle, it's beautiful.

We should do something about this historic airplane. Why can't we start a program to get volunteer donations from businesses and individuals to get this beauty restored.

Let's have some pride and get this done.
