Center Point man accused of child molesting
A Center Point man faces a child molesting charge after police say he had inappropriate conduct with an underage female.
Dustin Miller, 30, appeared in Clay Circuit Court last week on the felony count. He pleaded not guilty and future court dates were set; he is to next appear Feb. 16.
Miller's bond was set at $10,000 with no 10 percent allowed. If released, Miller is to appear in court, obey all laws and have no contact with the victim.
Clay County Sheriff's Department (CCSD) Chief Deputy Josh Clarke said investigation began on the child molestation case on Dec. 13. He said allegations were made that Miller had "inappropriate conduct with a female juvenile, minor" in rural Clay County.
On Dec. 18, CCSD detectives filed a probable cause affidavit, and Miller was arrested.
