Thank you, to St. Vincent Clay Hospital

To the editor:

The family of J.D. Burk wanted to commend the wonderful staff at Saint Vincent Clay Hospital. Our family spent the last 31 days with the Saint Vincent Clay family because of J.D.'s final days fighting a terminal illness.

Words can't describe the level of service and support provided over the past month. The entire staff was remarkable!

The nursing staff was not only professional; they were always pleasant, considerate and provided extraordinary care to J.D. One nurse actually sang beautiful hymns and they all held our hearts in their gentle hands.

The housekeeping and kitchen staff played a key role in our family's comfort and their contribution was very significant and impressive. The hospital's food was great!

Our community is so blessed to have a hospital like Saint Vincent Clay. We sometimes take for granted the service our hospital provides until it's needed, and then it's absolutely amazing. We are forever grateful.
