* The Reelsville Hill continues to be the Jonah to autoists, and it is now known to almost every owner of the machine in all the states of the middle west. Owners of machines take trips, and the national road is the popular thoroughfare for such travel, hence they are all introduced to the hill. What makes the hill so deceptive and so dangerous is the fact that when the autoist starts up the hill it looks rather insignificant and they are inclined to start up the hill on either high in intermediate gear. The results very often is that they get up to the turn in the road and they see the real hill in front of them. Their machines begin to stall, and they try too late to shift to the low gear. The machines get a start backward too great to be stopped and they shoot down the hill or into the ditch.
