Brazil Main Street expresses thanks

Sunday, October 2, 2016

To the editor:

Brazil Main Street would like to express our thanks to the great support and attendance at our recent project, Route 40 Fest. The intent for this project was to bring people, recognition to our improvements, and business back to our downtown area and merchants.

We especially would like to thank Mayor Wyndham, Brazil City Police, Brazil City employees, local merchants, pop up shops, vendors, sponsors, entertainers, suppliers and volunteers who worked together to make this event possible. In addition we would also thank Clay County Historical Society who also hosted their always popular project, “Night at the Museum” during the evening.

Brazil is a great city that can accomplish much when our community works together.

We look forward to a bright future for Brazil as well as our 40 Fest for 2017. We invite the community to share our vision by attending our group Brazil Main Street. Our meetings are held on the 2nd Monday of each month at First United Methodist Church at 5:30 P.M. Join us as we carry on our motto — “Love your community- Join-Volunteer-Participate.”
