Prosecutor asks County Council to pay for crime victim advocates after grant is denied

For the first time in more than 13 years, two part-time crime victims’ advocate positions in Clay County will not be funded through the Victims of Crime Act (VOCA) program. The grant has been denied by the Indiana Criminal Justice Institute.
