Youths can have fun with chemistry at Rose-Hulman program

Youths of all ages can learn the chemistry behind creating ice cream, Silly Putty and slime by participating in Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology’s Explore Engineering program on Feb. 13 from 6:30 to 8 p.m. in the college’s Sports and Recreation Center.

Rose-Hulman students will help youths complete several creative projects in this “Fun with Chemistry” event.

Registration is free for all youths. Advance registration is required before 5 p.m. on Feb. 12 at www.rose-hulman.edu/offices-and-services/explore-engineering/registration.aspx, or by contacting Chris Slocombe, assistant director of admissions, at slocombe@rose-hulman.edu.
