Rotary Happenings

At the Aug. 16 Brazil Rotary Club noon luncheon and speaker program, Rotarian Mark Adamson brought Author Mike McCarty to speak about his book, “Choking in Fear,” which was inspired by his childhood memories of the Hollandsburg murders. Mike was a 9-year-old child of police officer on the case, Tom McCarty, when the murders happened, and wrote his book from seeking an understanding why bad things happen to good people.
