Fred Stevens, 75, of Brazil, Indiana passed away at 9:47 am Friday, December 1, 2017 at his residence. He was a retired International Harvester/Case International mechanic for Lewis Equipment and Michael Sales Company both in Rockville and later retired from a Cloverdale dealership. He was born April 9, 1942 in Indiana to the late Fred Stevens and Telsie Stonebraker Elmore. He was preceded in death by his wife, Jay Huter Stevens. Survivors include two brothers, David (Shelley) Stevens and Robert (Ivy) Stevens both of Tangier; three sisters, Ruth Musson of Marshall, Betty (Vernon) Crose of Clearfield, Kentucky and Phyllis (Danny) Forrest of Iowa; several nieces and nephews. He was a 1960 graduate of Turkey Run High School in Marshall. He served with the U.S. Army. A visitation will be held Tuesday, December 5, from 5-7 pm with military honors conducted at 7:00 pm by Parke County Veterans following visitation.
