Inside Out Recovery is March recipient from 100 Women Who Care Clay County

Saturday, April 6, 2019

Last week, the 100 Women Who Care Clay County donated $6,100 to Inside Out Recovery. Jackie Reeves is shown holding the big check with Kevin Eckiss, president/CEO of Inside Out Recovery at 1408 E. Hendrix St., Brazil. At the March 13th meeting, the 100 Women Who Care Clay County voted to grant Inside Out $6,100. The recipient’s mission is to provide a safe transitional housing option in a Christ-center atmosphere for those who have completed a drug or alcohol treatment program or who have been released from prison. Eckiss said the group is using about half of its building, which used to house a nursing home, so there is plenty of room for future expansion. The group, 100 Women Who Care, is coordinated by the Clay County Community Foundation, an affiliate of the Wabash Valley Community Foundation. The group meets quarterly to nominate, advocate and select a local charitable cause to support. The group is given a $100 contribution from each member. All interested women are invited to join. For more information, call the Community Foundation at (812)232-2234 OR E-MAIL Emily@wvcf.com.
