Softball field at Forest Park receiving much-needed drainage work
To stop the flooding on the softball diamond at Forest Park crews recently installed the next phase of drain lines and to help drain the water from the field located in the northern section of the park. The softball park stays busy from May until October, said Brazil Parks and Recreation Superintendent Marv Moon, from various leagues from the YMCA. The recent heavy rainfall delayed the project until this past week. Workers hope to have the work completed and the field ready for softball games to start again after the 4th of July holiday.
