August is Special at the Brazil Public Library in the Youth Services Department! We will be having five programs in August instead of our normal four Thursday evening Weekly Youth Programs.

The month starts out on August 1st with an Underwater String Craft. Designed to use a few different techniques with a really cool, calming finished décor piece at the end.

August 8th is our Family Movie Night. Come in out of the heat and stay for our free Popcorn and Movie. This month’s movie is about a Boy and his prize-winning Calf. A great, feel-good movie!

August 15th is our Books before Bedtime. This has evolved into reading a few good books together, doing a small craft and finishing the evening with some Group Dancing. Always a fun night!

August 22nd is Family Game Night. A competitive evening filled with laughter and fun. Games are played together as a group and everyone always have a blast.

We close out our month with a Special craft night on August 29th. Come learn how to make String Art and take your very own Masterpiece home!

As a reminder, all programs start at 6 pm. No signup necessary, just come and play! See you there!

The Clay County Friends of The Library will take place on August 15, 16, and 17th in the Book Shoppe in the parking lot across from the library.
