PTVFD hosts Community Day Open House this Saturday

Community Day Open House is this Saturday, October 5th from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m.

Posey Volunteer Fire Department in Staunton will be hosting an Open House and we are inviting the entire community. You are encouraged to come and meet our firefighters and see what services we offer.

Give the gift of life as the Indiana Blood Center will be on hand from 11 am until 2:30 p.m. conducting a Blood Drive.

Our own EMTs will offer free health checks including Blood Pressure, Pulse Checks, and Oxygen Saturation levels.

Air-Evac Life team will land their aircraft at Staunton Elementary school and give free tours of their aircraft and answer any questions you may have.

The Clay County Sheriff’s Department will be on hand to educate citizens about the importance of calling 911 and when not to call 911.

Enjoy hot dogs, snow cones and drinks plus activities for the kids as well as a dunk tank where you will have the chance to dunk a firefighter.

Plus, a special visit from Sparky, the Fire Dog.

The event is FREE, but donations will be accepted.

It all goes down this Saturday, October 5th from 11 am until 4 pm at Posey Fire Department located in Staunton, Indiana.
