The annual Staunton Community Center Craft Fair is coming up on Saturday, November 23 from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. More than twenty vendors will be present, offering a wide variety of merchandise for holiday shopping. Food items prepared by the Lady Volunteers, ranging from homemade cinnamon rolls and sausage and gravy to chili and hot dogs, will be available to purchase. Don’t miss this great day of shopping, food, and fun.

STAUNTON UNITED METHODIST CHURCH

Sunday morning church service begins at about 10:45. Kevin Timberman is our Pastor.

The Staunton United Methodist Food Pantry is open in the church basement from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., usually on the last Wednesday of each month. However, this month’s Food Pantry day will be on the Tuesday before Thanksgiving, which is Tuesday, November 26. Anyone in the Staunton area in need of help is welcome. As always, thanks to all the folks at Staunton Christian Church, Knightsville United Methodist Church, Staunton Elementary School, and other churches, schools, civic organizations, local merchants, and individuals for your continuing support of this important mission.

STAUNTON FIRST CHRISTIAN CHURCH

Staunton First Christian will be hosting the annual Community Thanksgiving service on November 17, start at 6:00 pm.

Each year the United Methodist and Christian churches in Staunton have a combined worship service to express our thanksgiving for all our many blessings. Everyone is welcome to attend. Food and refreshments will be served following the service.

Sunday School begins at 9:30 a.m., followed by morning worship service at 10:30. Mark Miller is the minister. Wee Worship meets at 10:30 in the Educational Wing. Children’s Church meets with adult worship until after the offering is taken, when they dismiss to their classroom.

Keep praying for all those who are battling illness, as well as all the brave men and women of our military and their families. Also remember to pray for all the folks in nursing homes and hospitals, and those who have lost loved ones. Go out of your way to be kind to someone, and pray for everyone.
