UPDATE: 1st case of COVID-19 found in Clay County

Clay County has its first presumptive positive case of COVID-19, according to the Clay County Health Department.

On Saturday, March 28, Kim Hyatt issued a press release stating the patient is "self-isolating at home. No additional information about the patient will be released due to privacy laws."

The press release gave a link to Gov. Eric J. Holcomb's public health emergency declaration at http://www.in.gov.

The Indiana State Department of Health will provide updates as new information becomes available at http://in.gov/coronavirus.
