Wednesday, April 29, 2020

Athlete’s name: Logan Gifford Nicoson Roeschlein

Sport: Clay City boys golf

Years participating in the sport: This year would have been 4 years

Parents/Guardians: Darin and Kaylynn Roeschlein

Future plans: I plan on becoming a High School Special Education Teacher with a minor in Math.

Favorite memory: My favorite memory is from last year when the Seniors made the underclassmen run to the first green at Forest Park Golf Course and by the time we all got back to the tee box it was pouring down rain. We all looked like downed rats.

Biggest inspiration: Is my family. My mom hasn't missed any of my golf games. My Grandmother Linda even though she doesn't know a golf club from a baseball bat. She would take me to the course to practice and practice. We would go all summer long just to get better. Finally, my dad, even though he is a left-handed golf he has really helped this right-handed golfer a lot.

What you love most about your team: That everyone was there to have fun and win. We joked around and lot, but when it came time to come together and win, we did it.

Coach Clarence Johnson on Roeschlein: Logan is a good young man. Have enjoyed having him around for the past few years.
