Future plans: Run track and cross country in college and become a state trooper.

Favorite memory: When a couple of friends filled up my whole bag with rocks and cracked my phone screen which was in the bag.

Biggest inspiration: My biggest inspiration is Eliud Kipchoge, who is the world’s best marathoner ever.

What you love most about your team: We are more like a family rather than a team.

Coach Mark Raetz on Hapenny: Zach was a valuable four-year member of our track team. He is a big part of our tight-knit distance group. We were looking forward to an exciting senior season for him.
