Brazil Times Reporter Ivy Jacobs stopped by Forest Park Friday (July 31, 2020) to talk to Linda Ray about some of the changes in the annual Strawberry Festival. The event has moved to the Pavillion/Cow Palace in the park, which allows for a new drive-thru service, local vendors, all-weather seating and better social distancing for COVID-19, and a stage for live music. Entertainment provided by local Elvis Tribute Artist Eric Brown.

Funds raised during the fundraiser supports various local projects and the annual Christmas Celebration.

  • It always amazes me that during strawberry season, they use frozen soggy strawberries instead of fresh.
