As of Monday, Clay County has 251 positive cases of COVID-19 since the pandemic started in March. That is according to information provided by the Indiana State Department of Health.

A total of individuals tested, so far, is 4,166 (with 5,274 tested overall since the beginning of the pandemic) of the estimated 26,501 Clay County residents.

Five deaths have been reported overall, with the rest of the confirmed cases throughout the past six months either recovered or are in recovery at this time.

Clay County currently has a seven-day positivity rate among unique individuals - those only tested once - of 5.6 percent, with a positivity rate for all tests over seven days at 3.5 percent, and an overall cumulative rate of 4.9 percent.
