ast Side Elementary students love to celebrate their principal’s birthday, so this year Lisa Froderman issued a challenge for her birthday.

If the East Side staff and students could raise $500 for the Clay County Youth Food Program, she would match that contribution.

Currently, staff and students have have been very busy, with donations still coming in Monday - Crazy Hat Day to honor Froderman’s birthday.

At the end of the school day, Froderman was proud to announce the school will donate $1,2609.80 to the food program.
