LOCAL COVID-19 UPDATE October 12, 2020
The Indiana State Health Department confirms 69 new COVID-19 tests were completed since Friday, with four new positive cases, bringing the overall total in Clay County to 376 since the beginning of the pandemic in March.
A total of 5,047 unique individuals out of an estimated 26,501 Clay County residents have been tested with 7,410 tests overall completed.
The Positivity Rate for Unique Individuals tested during the past seven days is 9.9 percent.
There have been six deaths officially reported, with COVID-19 listed as a factor, the last confirmed on Friday, Oct. 9, 2020.
