Wabash Valley Health Center added as vaccination site

Wabash Valley Health Center has been added to Vigo County as a COVID-19 vaccine site they do have appointments right now for those eligible: healthcare workers, first responders and those over 70 years old.

Any interested Indiana residents may schedule appointments by calling 2-1-1 or by going online to ourshot.in.gov.

The WVHC is located at 1436 Locust St. in Terre Haute.

“Please know we are updating you as we find out information,” said Roni Elder, health educator/media coordinator for the Vigo County Health Department. “Continue to watch ourshot.in.gov for updates as the state can add new providers and also info on who is eligible there.

“We believe the state will continue to add more providers if you receive calls once these appointments are gone I would advise people to just check the website for more sites and appointments,” Elder said.
