On Saturday, the Northview Knights headed to Tiger Point to compete in the Greencastle Invitational. For the first time this season, they did not have to contend with wind or rain. The Knights faced off against North Putnam, South Vermillion, Southmont, along with the host Greencastle. The course has been under renovation the past couple of years. It is a nine-hole course, but the teams competed with two separate tees.

The Knights took home the win with an invitational team trophy. Northview locked in the victory with a 334 followed by the Tigers with a 352. The senior trio of Benjamin Goshen, Chase Nuckols, and Brevin Cooper also brought home medalist honors. Goshen topped all scorers with a 76 low medalist honors. Nuckols followed suit with an 80 for second place. Cooper tied two other competitors for third place with an 86. Tyler Nettles and Ethan DeHart rounded out the scoring with a 92 and 95.

This is the second invitational trophy the Knights have brought home this season. The boys will return to Tiger Point and meet up with Greencastle again Monday night for a conference match-up.
