Upcoming special section to help raise funds for local first responders

Sunday, September 12, 2021

The Brazil Times is participating in a fundraiser to help support Clay County first Responders during September.

According to Clay County Emergency Management Director Rob Gambill, new radio software is being considered for the Clay County 911 Dispatch Center located at the Clay County Justice Center, 611 East Jackson Street, Brazil.

The new software will enable the local radio system to be more efficient during emergencies, which will impact the emergency services provided for all Clay County residents.

The community project is part of the upcoming publication to spotlight “Clay County First Responders” later this month.

If you would like to participate, call the Times office at 812-446-2216.
