Thursday, September 23, 2021

The Northview Knights and South Putnam Eagles squared off Thursday night in an all-important Western Indiana Conference volleyball match. The two teams came into the game with just one loss in the conference and the winner would be able to contend for a title. The Knights would be able to outlast and outhit an Eagle squad playing their second straight night in a conference tilt with title implications. The Knights used a quick start in the first set and a dominant run in the fourth to defeat the Eagles 25-21, 23-25, 26-24, 25-12 to improve to 11-11 overall and 5-1 in the conference. South Putnam fell to 13-4 and 5-2 in the WIC.
