Local response proves to committee ‘Power of Community’

Wednesday, November 3, 2021

The Power of the Community would like to again thank our awesome community for their amazing support of our recent fundraiser, which will put books in the hands of our kindergarteners five times a year, when our Real Men Readers come to the schools. This would not be possible without our five corporate sponsors: A+ Printing, Great Dane, First Farmers Bank and Trust (Brazil and Clay City), Riddell National Bank and Terre Haute Savings Bank. In addition, every school in our corporation donated cash or a basket to auction off, as well as Central and Transportation Offices.

Nevertheless, we have so many other businesses and clubs to thank as well for their cash or gift donations: A & B Farm House, Ames Title & Closings, A Bushel and A Peck-Lindsey Mershon, All-IN Works, Advance Auto Parts, Alicia Reed-Thomas, D.O., American Rental, Ascension St. Vincent-Clay Hospital, Auto Zone, Belterra Casino Resort, Bite This Bakery, Bob and Angie’s Hometown Café, Bob and Susan Treash, Bowman’s Pro Turf, BoxDrop Brazil, Brazil Ace Hardware, Brazil Automotive Supply-NAPA, Brazil Lions Club, Brenda Weber, Carquest, Carol Bell, Casey’s General Store (East), Chances and Services for Youth, Clay Brazil Women’s Club, Clay City NAPA Auto Parts, Clay City Pottery, Clay County Historical Society, Clay County Podiatry, Clayshire Castle, Cloverleaf Nursing Home, Darrin’s DooDads, Delta Theta Tau Sorority (Alumni and Omega), DLC Media, Dr. Craig and Heidi Johnson, Edward Jones- Brian Depasse, Edward Jones- Max Short, El Patron Mexican Restaurant, Emmert Realty, Eric and Marsha Wyndham, Farm Bureau Insurance, Fleta’s Wreath, Forest Park Golf Course, French Funeral Home, French Lick Resort, GM Digital Design, Glory Days Restaurant, H & R Block, Hair Productions, Hometek Pest Control, Hoosier Aviation, Inspired Studio Photography, ISU Division of University Advancement, James E.
