The Indiana State Department of Health confirmed Clay County is in the YELLOW for the Weekly 2-Metric Score, 7-Day All Tests Positivity Rate for the second week in a row. And for the first time in months, the ADVISORY LEVEL is also in YELLOW.

The COVID-19 Dashboard (www.coronavirus.in.gov) shows the county remains in the ORANGE categories for the Weekly Cases Per 100,000 Residents. The dashboard uses this data about the current positivity rates for the spread of the COVID-19 virus in the county, which are trending upward at this time.

The ISDH officials could return Clay County to ORANGE if the trend continues.

However, health officials remain hopeful.

The ISDH COVID-19 Vaccination Dashboard (www.https://www.coronavirus.in.gov/vaccine) reflects 10,805 Clay County residents are fully vaccinated, with 1,823 booster shots administered.
