New Administrators named at school board meeting
Clay Community School Board of Trustees approved two new administrators at Thursday’s meeting.
Bethany Jones (pictured above left) will be North Clay Middle School’s new principal.
Amber Sinders will be the new CCS Director of Health Services/Corporation Nurse in the coming school year.
In other business, the school board approved:
The $25,000 STEM Acceleration grant for Van Buren Elementary,
Discussed the 2022 Summer School, and
Made revisions to the Master
Teacher contract for summer school participation, and revised the Administrator’s Handbook.
All the board members congratulated Jones and Sinders at the meeting, with Board President Tom Reberger summarizing their opinions.
“I concur with everything that has been said,” said Reberger, who praise3 both women for their dedication to the school corporation. “It’s a great community. A great place to work. A great place to raise your family, and we have great people.”
The June School Board meeting will take place on Thursday, June 9, in the board room at the Central Administrative Office, 1013 South Forest Avenue, Brazil, at 7 p.m.
