Richard Keith Buell, 73, of Brazil, Indiana, passed away at Union Hospital, in Terre Haute, on April 21, 2023, following a lengthy illness.

Keith, as he was known by many, was born on September 30, 1950, in Terre Haute, Indiana, the son of Leonard O. and Norma Maxine (Hoke) Buell. Keith graduated from Clay City High School with the class of 1968. He worked as a control operator for Commercial Solvents in Terre Haute for many years. When he wasn’t working, Keith enjoyed riding motorcycles and working on vintage cars.

Keith is survived by his son Chad Buell Sr. and wife Amy and a daughter Tracy Barbee - Coonce. Also surviving are his grandchildren Chad Buell Jr. and fiancé Anna England, Cameron Buell, Sabrina Cundiff, and Christy Jeffery (Dale); great-grandchildren: Cullen and Lincoln as well as a host of extended family members.

Visitation will be at French Funeral Home, 421 E. National Ave. Brazil, Indiana 47834, on Monday, May 1, 2023, from 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM. Services will be held at the funeral home, on Tuesday, at 11:00 AM with burial to follow at Fairview Cemetery in Bowling Green.
