WANDA M. WHITMARSH, Harmony, IN

Wanda M. Whitmarsh, 93 of Harmony, passed away June 2, 2023, at her home with her family present. She was born January 17, 1930, in Brazil, the daughter of Lannie and Hazel Marshall Moss. She graduated from Ashboro High School.

On August 14, 1948, she was united in marriage to Bob Whitmarsh. Wanda and Bob enjoyed 69 years of marriage and a good life together. They both enjoyed time with their daughter Michaelynn and visits with grandchildren. Wanda developed a talent for sewing and crocheting. She also worked countless crossword puzzles and intricate pencil art.

As a career, Wanda worked for over 25 years for A&P Company in a clerical position. She later worked for Glasco in a technical division.

Wanda was a faithful attendee at the Epworth United Methodist Church. She was a steadfast supporter and later a caregiver for her dear husband, Bob.

Survivors include her daughter Michaelynn “Micky” Woodrow (Ron Blasig); grandchildren, Troy Woodrow (Michelle), Chad Woodrow (Janice), and Christine Woodrow; great-grandchildren, Sarah Woodrow, Samantha Woodrow, Emma Woodrow, Conor Woodrow, Brandon Braumoeller; sisters in law, Carolyn Whitmarsh, and Donna Swift; many nieces, nephews, and other extended family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Lannie, and Hazel Ernestine Moss; brothers, Linden Moss and wife Lela, James Moss and wife Barbara, Gerald Moss, Glenden Moss and wife Shann; brother-in-law, Tom Whitmarsh.

Services will be held Tuesday at 1:00pm at the Lawson-Miller Chapel, with Pastor Randy Dragan and Sarah King officiating. Burial will follow at Cottage Hill Cemetery. Post a note of condolence at www.lawson-millerchapel.com
