Shirley Ruth (Neville) Quick Weaver, 86, of Brazil, Indiana, passed away on August 19, 2024.

Shirley was born on September 3, 1937, in Clay County, Indiana the daughter of Robert and Melinda (Wetnight) Neville. She graduated from Brazil High School with the class of 1955 where she was a Majorette. Shirley worked for Windbreaker for a short time prior to beginning her career at Columbia House. After retiring, she began working at the Subway in Rose-Hulman.

She was a devoted wife to husbands Joseph LeRoy Quick and Robert Dean Weaver who both preceded her in death.

She was also a devoted member of The Anchor Church on State Road 59, in Brazil. There she had served in various capacities including Sunday School Teacher and Prison Outreach. She was a member of the Women’s Auxiliary. She was known to many parishioners as the “card minister” as she lovingly and frequently sent cards to members of the church family.

Shirley was preceded in death by her parents Robert and Melinda Neville; husbands: Joseph Quick and Robert Weaver; son Mitchell Quick; daughter Cindy Quick; siblings: Edward Neville, Donald Neville, and Millie Patterson.

Shirley is survived by her daughters: Dawn Ann Hertzberger, Teresa Modesitt and husband Andy, and Andrea Puff and husband Eric; grandchildren: B.J. Frazee (Jayme), Mitch Quick II (Jeri Lynn), Addison Hertzberger, Scott Quick, Bethany Quick, Taylor Thomas (Michael); great-grandchildren: Madelyn Frazee, Dillon Frazee, Hudson Frazee, Brianna Langdon Quick, Jorden Langdon, Aiden Quick, Hunter Quick, Gage Quick, Ariana Quick, Aries Meyerhoff-Hertzberger, Benjamin Thomas, and Alayna Puff; sisters: Linda Lovett and Lucy Loveland as well as several nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends and her beloved Boxer Luke.

Visitation will be at The Anchor Church 1029 W County Rd 600 N, Brazil, IN 47834, on Saturday, August 24, 2024, from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM. Services will follow at 1:00 PM with Pastor Eric Patterson officiating. Burial will follow at Bee Ridge Cemetery.
