MICHAEL THOMAS OKULOVICH SR. Brazil, IN

Michael Thomas Okulovich Sr. , 65, passed away August 15, 2024 at his residence. Mike was born to the late Raymond and Charlene Okulovich on February 11, 1959 in Chicago, Illinois.

Mike was known as the go to “fix it” guy in his family. If he didn’t know how to fix something, he would learn how to. Or, he would take it apart just to learn about it to put it back together, whether it be cars, household items, or even working with electric. He also worked in carpentry for many years. Mike had never met a stranger and loved talking to new people. He had a big heart and was always willing to help anyone in need. He was a tough man and would do anything to protect his family, no matter what the consequences were.

Mike is preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Jim Okulovich, uncle, Sidney Okulovich, a nephew Trevor Okulovich.

Mike is survived by his four children, Michael Okulovich Jr., Daniel “Shane” Okulovich, Jessica Danelle Okulovich, Samantha Nicole Okulovich, grandchildren, Carmen Horn, Rori Stewart, Raivyn Stewart, and Daniel Okulovich Jr., siblings, Anthony Okulovich, Barbara Kirton and Janice Okulovich-Yockey.

A visitation will be held Thursday, August 22nd from 11- 1 at French Funeral Home, 421 East National Avenue in Brazil. A funeral service will begin at 1 P.M. Burial will follow at Clearview Cemetery.
