MAMO MARION, Brazil, IN

Mamo Marion, 67, passed away August 20, 2024 after an extended illness. She

was born on December 7, 1957 to Lani and Charlotte Sang.

Mamo graduated from Bassett High School. She worked at the Brazil Walmart for

over 20 years, retiring in 2020. She loved traveling to anywhere warm and with

sand. After retirement, Mamo greatly enjoyed spending time with her family and

helping raise her grandson. She will be remembered as someone who was always

willing to lend a helping hand to anyone who needed it.

Mamo is preceded in death by her siblings, Kalani, Keola, Mahi, and Kinau Sang.

Mamo is survived by her children, Keoni Hooker and Leialoha Tabasco,

grandchildren, Reagan Rose and Jon Batchelor, great grandchildren, Kai Bates,

Auden Bates, and Maverick Wilson, siblings, Lani Sang (Gloria), Hala Sang

(Jeannette), and Wailana Banker (John), and a sister-in-law, Rhonda Sang.

Mamo was very private and wished for no services. Her family will lay her to rest

with her parents and her brother at a later date.
