LOOK AT THAT
Forest Park Elementary had some special visitors, and a unique vehicle visited the school on Monday morning.
An Amazon Indianapolis TESLA Cyber Truck and Manager Chase McCrocklin and his wife Noely were at the school Monday morning to talk to students and drop off school supplies.
Chase, who grew up in Brazil and graduated from Northview in 2018, talked about being a Logistics Manager at Amazon at 24, which led to his purchasing the vehicle for use during special deliveries.
The students had many questions for Chase as he showed them around the electric truck.
The Tesla Cybertruck is a battery-electric pickup truck introduced as a concept vehicle in November 2019. It has been in production and has been sold since 2023.
The futuristic-looking full-size vehicle is made of stainless steel. Its charge range is estimated at 250-340 miles, and the 0-60 mph acceleration time is 2-3 seconds, depending on the model.
“It is a very quiet ride,” explained Noely.
