LARRY ALLEN ROESCHLEIN, Clay County, IN

Larry Allen Roeschlein, 84, passed away September 13, 2024. Larry was born to the late Elmer and Lorene (Froderman) Roeschlein on April 21, 1940 in Clay County.

Larry graduated from Cory High School in 1958. After graduation, he served in the Air Guard. He worked for Pillsbury for many years both in Terre Haute and New Albany. He retired from there in 1990. Larry loved to attend auctions, find treasures and then resell them so someone else could love them. He would often set up a booth at the Covered Bridge Festival, Cory Apple Festival, and Trade Days. He was an avid card player, golfer, and hunter and also loved sports.

Larry is preceded in death by his parents, and one sister, Sharon Roeschlein.

Larry is survived by his wife of 55 years, Susie Roeschlein, nephews, Brad Youngblood (Jill) and their son Evan, and Doug Youngblood (Teresa) and their children, John and Kate. He is also survived by many cousins, as well as many friends that he met through the years at auctions, golfing, playing cards, and hunting.

In accordance with Larry’s wishes, no services will be held.

The family would like to extend their gratitude to Cloverleaf Healthcare, Springhill Village and Union Hospital for their wonderful care of Larry during this time.
