COLLEGE REPORT: Lee records first kill as SMWC extends season-opening winning streak
After being an integral part of Northview’s volleyball team that posted a .764 winning percentage (a record of 52-16) and won a pair of conference and sectional championships, Audrey Lee has fit in quite nicely at Saint Mary-of-the-Woods.
The freshman outside hitter has appeared in each of the team’s first 16 games of the season, which included playing in six sets in Saturday’s doubleheader against Kentucky State University. In the pair of wins, Lee recorded her first collegiate kill while also added three more aces to her ledger, giving her 17 for the season – the second most among qualifying Pomeroys.
Lee’s contributions have played a part in helping Saint Mary’s win 16 straight games to open the season, a new program record. They’ll look to extend that with matchups against Indiana University Kokomo and Indiana University East over the next week.
