COLLEGE REPORT: Kellett contributing in multitude of ways after missing last season with knee injury
Kassidy Kellett etched her name into the Northview girls soccer history books by becoming the program’s all-time leading goal scorer while also doing her part to bring home multiple sectional championships.
The senior forward, who missed the entirety of the 2023 collegiate season due to a knee injury, has returned to Lee University’s roster this fall and has been a consistent contributor already.
In the Flames’ most recent games against University of West Alabama and the University of Alabama Huntsville, Kellett played an average of 34.5 minutes and recorded one assist and one shot on goal. She’s helped Lee University, which returns to the field Friday against Auburn University Montgomery, get out to a 1-2-3 record as she works her way back.

Kaylee Lowe (SMWC women’s soccer)
Kaylee Lowe and the Saint Mary-of-the-Woods women’s soccer team took on Harris-Stowe State University and Great Lakes Christian University recently. Lowe started both games, averaging 80 minutes played, and recorded a pair of shots. Saint Mary’s owns a 1-3-2 record and had games against DePauw University and Oakland City University this week.
Raelee Everhart (SMWC women’s soccer)
Raelee Everhart and the Saint Mary-of-the-Woods women’s soccer team took on Harris-Stowe State University and Great Lakes Christian University recently. Everhart appeared in both games, which included one start, and played an average of 52.5 minutes. The junior midfielder recorded two shots and one shot on goal. Saint Mary’s owns a 1-3-2 record and had games against DePauw University and Oakland City University this week.
Kambree James (SMWC women’s soccer)
Kambree James and the Saint Mary-of-the-Woods women’s soccer team took on Harris-Stowe State University and Great Lakes Christian University recently. James appeared in both games and averaged 6.5 minutes. Saint Mary’s owns a 1-3-2 record and had games against DePauw University and Oakland City University this week.
Lane Notter (Wabash men’s golf)
Lane Notter and the Wabash College men’s golf team competed in the Midwest Region Classic held at Brighton Dale Links in Kansasville, Wisconsin over the weekend. There, the freshman, who was making his collegiate debut, fired respective rounds of +1 and +6, giving him a cumulative score of +7 which put him in a tie for 84th place. Wabash returns to the course Sunday at the DePauw University Fall Invitational.
Tori Schopmeyer (SMWC volleyball)
Tori Schopmeyer and the Saint Mary-of-the-Woods volleyball team took on Indiana University Kokomo and Indiana University East recently. Schopmeyer appeared in both matches, playing four sets. The senior outside hitter recorded eight kills and three digs. Saint Mary’s owns a 14-2 record and plays Oakland City University, Indiana University Columbus and Indiana University Southeast this week.
Audrey Lee (SMWC volleyball)
Audrey Lee and the Saint Mary-of-the-Woods volleyball team took on Indiana University Kokomo and Indiana University East recently. Lee appeared in both matches, playing eight sets. The freshman outside hitter recorded two digs and once ace. Saint Mary’s owns a 14-2 record and plays Oakland City University, Indiana University Columbus and Indiana University Southeast this week.
Halle Miller (ISU women’s cross country)
Halle Miller and the Indiana State University women’s cross country team competed in the John McNichols Invitational held at LaVern Gibson Championship Course over the weekend. Miller, who ran in the Women’s Division I race, finished 34th with a time of 22:47. Indiana State returns to the course on Oct. 4 at the Joe Piane Invitational.
Gnister Grant (ISU women’s cross country)
Gnister Grant and the Indiana State University women’s cross country team competed in the John McNichols Invitational held at LaVern Gibson Championship Course over the weekend. Grant, who ran in the Women’s Division I race, finished 32nd with a time of 22:45. Indiana State returns to the course on Oct. 4 at the Joe Piane Invitational.
Thomas Chapman (SMWC men’s cross country)
Thomas Chapman and the Saint Mary-of-the-Woods men’s cross country competed in the John McNichols Invitational held at LaVern Gibson Championship Course over the weekend. Chapman, who ran in the Men’s Open race, finished 87th with a time of 25:55. Saint Mary’s returns to the course on Oct. 4 at the Division III Pre-National Meet.
Hank Slater (Rose Hulman men’s cross country)
Hank Slater and the Rose Hulman men’s cross country competed in the John McNichols Invitational held at LaVern Gibson Championship Course over the weekend. Slater, who ran in the Men’s Open race, finished 340th with a time of 29:39. Rose Hulman returns to the course on Oct. 4 at the Division III Pre-National Meet.
Jcim Grant (ISU men’s cross country)
Jcim Grant and the Indiana State University men’s cross country team competed in the John McNichols Invitational held at LaVern Gibson Championship Course over the weekend. Grant, who ran in the Men’s Division I race, finished 36th with a time of 26:03. Indiana State returns to the course on Oct. 4 at the Joe Piane Invitational.
