DAPHNE JEAN KELLER BREWER, Crawfordsville, IN

Daphne Jean Keller Brewer, 88, of Crawfordsville passed away Friday morning September 27, 2024. Daphne was born June 29, 1936 in Parkersburg, Indiana, Montgomery County to the late Vernice E. Keller and Donna M. (Payne) Keller.

Daphne was a 1954 graduate of Ladoga High School. On February 27, 1955 in Ladoga, Daphne married Lawrence E. Brewer. They were approaching 70 years of marriage.

Daphne attended Church of Christ at Haw Creek, McKinley Hill Church of Christ, Brazil and Whitesville Christian Church. Daphne loved her daily drives in the countryside with Lawrence. She was a master of classic home cooking, a talented musician, and an avid gospel singer. She loved attending all types of sporting events, especially of her grandchildren, their fellow friends, and the Southmont Mounties. Her family, friends and church were the most important part of her life. She served hundreds of children over several decades in food service and in classrooms in the Crawfordsville Schools and was loved by all.

Survivors include her children: Gregory Brewer, Eric W. Brewer (Judith), Melinda Brewer (Joan). Her siblings include Eleanor K. Brewer and Leon M. Keller. Her grandchildren were Bailey Cummings (Dustin), E.J. Brewer and Ella Brewer.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a son, Larry Mark Brewer.

There will be a graveside service on Saturday, November 30, 2024 at 2:00 pm at Maple Ridge Cemetery, Waveland with Pastor Glen McFarland officiating.
