He was born Dec. 21, 1936, in Brazil as the son of Otis and Eunice Dutel Coltharp. Following graduation from Brazil High School he began a career of 50 years in the retail grocery business.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one daughter, Cathy Walker; and one sister, Mary Price.
He is survived by his wife, Sue LeMay Coltharp; one son, John Coltharp of Brazil, grandchildren Tyler Coltharp, Dan Walker, Chris Walker, Nicole Walker, Levi Walker, and Josh Lewicki; one sister, Bonnie Targett and several nieces and nephews.
Private family funeral services will be conducted by Moore Funeral Home with burial to follow at Croys Creek Cemetery.
