SHARI LEA CUNNINGHAM OVERSHINER

Shari Lea Cunningham Overshiner, also known as Shari McKinney, 31, of Terre Haute and Brazil, died June 5, 2006, at 2:30 a.m. at her residence.

Born Feb. 12, 1975, in Greencastle,Indiana, she was the daughter of George H. Culbertson and Betty Jean (Porter) Culbertson.

She was a 1993 Northview graduate, an avid sotball and volleyball player, enjoyed bowling and playing the Cherry Masters. She was a former employee of Lear Corp of Greencastle, Indiana, and Poly-One of Terre Haute. As a young girl in her teens, she attended Brazil First Church of the Nazarene.

She is survived by three sons, Orian and Alexzander Cunningham and William "Budda" Overshiner; special family members, Pappa Johnney and Nadine "Neanee" McKinney and their children, Sally, Suzie and Shawn; mother and stepfather, Betty Jean Pilkin and John Pilkin; twin sister, Carrie Joab; two brothers, James Culbertson and James Anderson; a sister, Dravin Pilkin; stepbrother, Johnny Pilkin; grandparents, George and Barbara Culbertson; stepgrandfather, Ernie Pilkin, nieces, nephew, aunts, uncles and cousins.

Funeral services will be conducted at DeBaun Springhill Chapel, Friday, June 9 at 2:30 p.m.

Visitation will be Friday, 12:30 p.m. until services, with Pastor Kenneth Price, her uncle officiating. Burial will be in South Vigo Congregational Church Cemetery, the Black Cemetery.
