Born June 17, 1922, in West Terre Haute, she was the daughter of Harold E. Baker and Gretchen M. (Swindle) Baker.

She was a homemaker and member of the Clay City Home Ec. Club, Clay City Senior Citizens and the Terre Haute German Oberlanders Club.

Preceding her in death were her parents and a brother Newton E. Baker.

Survivors include her husband of 65 years, Stanley G. Davis whom she married on June 29, 1941; two sons and daughters-in-law, George T. and Nancy Davis and Stanley Guy Davis Jr. and wife, Emily; three daughters and sons-in-law, Susan and Rick Harrington, Sally and Doug Weatherston; Maribeth and Rick Anderson; one brother and sister-in-law, Harold and Ernestine Baker; one sister, Nancy Reynolds; 11 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Private family graveside service will be Wednesday with her son-ln-law. Rev. Douglas Weatherston officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Park.
