She was born in Detroit Mich., Aug. 12, 1941, to Oscar and Eva Stonebreaker Liston.
She worked at the Clay County Health Center and part-time for Kroger. After leaving the health center in 1978 she began working full-time for Kroger as a cake decorator retiring in August of 2006.
She enjoyed painting ceramics, collecting frog memorabilia and cat statutes, she also enjoyed watching old time TV shows and comedies. She also had a Rottweiller named Mocha that spent much time with and was a dear companion.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors include her long-time companion and friend Eric Pittsenbarger; son Gibby Lanham and wife Joani, Brazil; daughters Lyn Mathews and husband Eddie, Brazil, and Kim McKenzie and husband Jeff, Brazil; grandchildren: Josh Wheeler, Chelsey Mathews, Brock Mathews, Jordan Wheeler, and Hillary Wheeler; step-grandchildren Mike Mathews, Jesse Mathews, Christie Pickett, Steven Snow, Jamie Head, Rene Frazier; great-grandchildren Mason Hensley, Danielle Head, Christoper Pickett, Dillon Head, Tori Pickett and Kylee Frazier.
Services will be at Lawson Miller Chapel Saturday at 3:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Calcutta Cemetery. Visitation will be at the funeral home Saturday from 1 p.m. until time of services.
