Letter to the Editor

Reader baffled by 'card' dilemma

Sunday, June 1, 2008

To the Editor:

In response to the letter by Dave Bussing about the library, what a shame!

I can't believe you have to go through Homeland Security to get a library card.

I would think an address should suffice. After such a prolonged period of being closed, you would think the library might want the public to visit.

If I had children's books to share, I would invite you and your grandson to my own home for the friendly reading experiences he should have gotten at our "public" library.
