Chess Anyone?

Sunday, August 24, 2008

During the opening of the The ROCK youth center in Clay City Sunday afternoon, Ben Decker, 14, Brazil, helped Trevor Smith, 11, Clay City, and his brother Noah Denker, 11, play a strategic game of chess in the game room. The facility officially opens today after school and provides a safe Christian atmosphere for junior high through college-age young adults to "hang out." The facility offers a coffee shop, game room, homework/tutoring room, chapel and many other activities, including daily tutoring services from 3:30-5 p.m. The youth center is located at the corner of 500 E. Tenth Street, Clay City.
