The system is outdated?

To the Editor:

I would like to make a plea to the Clay County School Board and the Superintendent that they look into updating their system for checking how our kids are doing in school. Greencastle schools have the STI Home and you can check tardies and school work on a daily basis, absences and grades. This system is great for those of us who would like to keep up with our kids to ensure they are doing well in school. The system Clay County schools use now seems outdated and is of no use to me as a parent. Seems that they would want to help parents willing to help them with our children as long as we could see where it was needed.
