Church thanks all for event

To the Editor:

We would like to thank all those who helped make this year's Trunk and Treat Halloween alternative a great success.

Thank you to Clover signs for the donation of the colorful banner. Thank you to Bill Hauck and the Forest Park staff who cleaned and set up the "cow palace" for the event.

Thank you to the Brazil City Police Department for coming to the event, and to the YMCA for turning on the baseball field lights during the event.

A big thank you to all the volunteers who came from many area churches to share their time and talents.

You made this year's Trunk and Treat a fun and safe place for our community's children and families.
