Healthcare facility extends thanks

Sunday, May 2, 2010

To the Editor:

Cloverleaf Healthcare of Knightsville would like to extend a very warm thank you to all that helped and participated in our Dog Show that took place April 21.

Intrepid Home Health Services coordinated the event and also donated several of the prizes.

The event was a wonderful success and we would like to thank Robin Collins from Intrepid for being there to help and interact with our residents.

We were blessed with beautiful weather so we brought our residents and families outside, where they were able to enjoy a delightful afternoon with 10 adorable dogs competing for fun prizes and the "Best in Show" prize, which was a $25 gift certificate to a local dog groomer.

We would also like to thank and congratulate the following participants for bringing their dogs to our facility for our residents to enjoy: Mona Adamson and Chili (Best tail Wag), Jennifer Fulk and Mya (Most obedient and Best in Show), Amy Weis and Chico (Most Patriotic), Jennifer Forbes and Jose (Best Vocal Performance), Mary Ruth Barksdale and Livie Lou (Cutest Tail), Faith Parker and Ainsley (Most Intimidating), John Fountain and Sammi (Least Obedient), LaDonna MacDonald and Pepper (Most Loyal), Bill Briggs and Precious (Most Territorial), and Jaime Clodfelter and Bella (Cutest Outfit).

We appreciate the family members, employees and community members that took the time to brighten the day for our residents here at Cloverleaf.

Lisa Bell,

Cloverleaf Healthcare of Knightsville,
