Giving thanks for repaving

Sunday, December 5, 2010

To the Editor:

Mayor A. Ann Bradshaw and myself, Clerk/Treasurer Karen McQueen, would like to extend a big thank you to all who worked so hard on the Pinckley Street Paving Project.

Without everyone's hard work and dedication to this project, we believe it would have been a lot harder to complete.

The road looks great and drives smoothly.

The following is a list of those individuals we would like to say thank you to: Brazil Water Department (Jacob Raubuch, Stoney Lalen, Robert Geldmeirer, Josh Backfish, Don Riggle, Richard Vanatti, Donald Vanatti, Charles Dowell and Shane Shorter), Brazil City Street Department (Brian Bemis, Mike Head, Fred Dowell, James Gorrell, Jimmy Croy, and James Labaume), Brazil City Sewage Department (Jerry Robison, Terry Robison, William Lovett, Gib Lanham and Leland Fagg), Brazil City Police Department (Marty Harris), Clay County Highway Department (Seth Lawson, Scott Griffith, Pete Foster, Brad Stultz, Harley Harden, Brandon Riggle, Steve Downing, Terry Funk, David Nevins, Gary McCullough, Jack Wedding, and Mac Thompson), Clay County School Corporation (Tom Reberger, all school bus drivers, Forest Park Elementary Administration, teachers, parents and students), residents living on Pinckley Street and in the community, Brad Barrett Excavating, Clay County Commissioners Jack Withers, Paul Sinders and Charlie Brown, and last, but not least, Tabitha Briones Engineer with Banning Engineering Firm and all others who we failed to mention.

Thank you again.

Karen McQueen, Brazil Clerk/Treasurer,

Ann Bradshaw, Mayor,
