Grateful for act of kindness
To the Editor:
This weekend at church, we heard the gospel about loving thy neighbor.
It was the perfect story to go with what a woman whom I have never met did for me on Saturday.
I was coming out of Aldi's and asked this woman where she got her jacket.
I told her the one I had, like hers, had been taken and I was having trouble finding another one like it.
She totally surprised me when she took hers off right then and said, "Take this one."
I told her I couldn't, but she insisted it was a gift.
We've been hearing lately about "Random Acts of Kindness." I would say this definitely counts.
I would love to thank her.
So I hope she reads this.
Thank you so much for making my day and for being such a wonderful example for my boys and the rest of us that afternoon.
